Weekly Movement

A calming yoga practice ideal for winding down in the evening. Intended for bed but can be done on a mat too. Grab some blankets and pillows for extra coziness and support as we practice. Feel free to wear your pajamas and don’t be shy about drifting off to sleep during this session!

We begin by centering and breathing and then move into gentle warm ups. We then transition to longer holds in supportive postures such as twists and forward bends, using pillows and blankets as props. Finally, we conclude with a gratitude exercise and a meditation or relaxation session. All levels of experience and participation are welcome!

Activity Level: Mild – Primarily restorative movement and meditation

Props: Nothing other than a couch, bed, mat or soft portion of floor for sitting and laying – blankets, pillows, blocks and other comfort items may be useful for enhancing your experience but are not required!
